DESCRIPTION:$77.08 Per Columbia Club Member\, Includes Tax\, Gratuity\, & Price for Instructor \nRSPV Here! \n6:00 – 6:30 PM Wine & Cheese Reception \n6:30 – 7:30 PM Ballroom Dance Class \n7:30 – 8:00 PM Event Ends \nPLEASE NOTE YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ADDED TO A WAITLIST TO ENSURE AN EQUAL NUMBER OF PARTNERS. \nBack by popular demand…Dance professional Louis del Prete will be returning to the Club to teach an exciting group ballroom lesson!  Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from this international dancing sensation and global champion! \nLouis Del Prete is a talented musician and dancer. He is accomplished on drums\, keyboards\, and trumpet is a fantastic singer\, and is an excellent ballroom dancer and teacher. He is accomplished in ballroom and Latin dancing\, having an excellent lead\, precise technique\, and smooth style. At one time\, he also taught dance on popular cruise lines. Now he teaches group and private lessons and runs many dance venues on Long Island. He has previously taught ballroom classes at the Penn Club along with Dancing with the Stars celebrity Karina Smirnoff. \nLouis’s skills started at the age of 13 when he joined his talented mother and father\, Rosann and Louis (also known as the “Perry Lane Orchestra”)\, at the former Island Squire Restaurant in Middle Island\, where they performed for many years! His mom\, Rosann\, was a member of a popular all-girl band in the ’60s called the “Female Beatles.” His dad toured the United States with various bands as a trumpet player with a sound like Harry James. \nSpace is limited so sign up early! \nCome as a couple or as a single! All singles will automatically be on a waitlist until we have an equal number of partners to ensure we have sufficient folks to conduct the class. \nWine\, soft drinks\, water\, and an array of cheese and crackers will be provided at the event! \nNo cancelations after July 29th. All no-shows will be charged the full cost of the event.
