Tour of Franklin D. Roosevelt Island Four Freedoms Park
History and aesthetics come alive at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park! Located just across the East River from the United Nations, the Park offers valuable learning opportunities in civics, design, and world history.
Come enjoy gorgeous views of Manhattan as you learn about the history of Roosevelt Island and architect Louis Kahn’s vision of a tribute to America’s transformative president. Then picnic in the park with a delicious boxed-lunch.

The group will meet at the Roosevelt Island Historical Society kiosk. To get to Roosevelt Island, take the TRAM at 59th St. and 2nd Ave. or the F train.
