The Explorers Club Tour and Lunch at the Asia Society Garden Café

Founded in New York in 1904, the Explorers Club is an extraordinary organization devoted to scientific exploration. Explorer Club members have accomplished daring feats such as being the first to the North Pole, first to the South Pole, first to the top of Mount Everest, first to the moon and first to the deepest point in the ocean. On this tour, the Club archivist will guide the group through six floors of collected archives, manuscripts, art and artifacts from the adventures of their Club members.

After the tour, the group will enjoy an à la carte lunch together at the beautiful Asia Society Garden Court Café located on Park Avenue and 70th Street. Please meet the group promptly at 10:45AM at the entrance of the Explorers Club on 46 East 70th Street between Madison and Park Avenue. The Club may be reached by the 4, 5, 6 subway or by the M1, M2, M3, M4, M72 bus.
