Woodrow Wilson, Race and the Politics of Memorialization with Randall Kennedy
Join us for a special presentation by Professor Randall Kennedy and his analysis on Woodrow Wilson, Race and the Politics of Memorialization. Professor Kennedy is a Michael R. Klein Professor at Harvard Law School, where he teaches courses on contracts, criminal law, and the regulation of race relations. Kennedy will share his perspective as a distinguished historian and lawyer on the complicated legacy of former President of the United States and Princeton graduate, Woodrow Wilson.
Professor Randall Kennedy is a Rhodes Scholar, graduate of Yale Law School, and former trustee of Princeton. Kennedy is the author of numerous books, including For Discrimination: Race, Affirmative Action, and the Law (2013), The Persistence of the Color Line: Racial Politics and the Obama Presidency (2011), Sellout: The Politics of Racial Betrayal (2008), and Interracial Intimacies: Sex, Marriage, Identity, and Adoption (2003). He also writes for the New York Times on issues relating to race relations.
