Due to the fact that Ambassador DiCarlo has now been asked to accompany Secretary of State Kerry to Geneva as part of the President’s delegation to meet with their Russian counterparts regarding the situation in Syria, this event has regretfully been cancelled.
Join us for a special evening with Ambassador Rosemary DiCarlo, United States Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations. Ambassador DiCarlo, a member of the Senior Foreign Service, just concluded duties as the rotating President of the United Nations Security Council during the month of July. Having served at the United Nations, the Department of State, UNESCO, and the National Security Council, she is a career specialist in European, Russian, and Eurasian affairs. Ambassador DiCarlo’s posts have included assignments in Moscow and Oslo. She speaks Russian and French, holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from Brown University, and has a State Department record studded with honors and awards.
