Doing Business in the Middle East
This enlightening tutorial will explore the GCC region (Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman) and touch on the MENA region (Egypt, Jordon, and Lebanon). After nine years in the Middle East, Sonya Shaykhoun, Esq. developed this seminar to help individuals learn everything they wanted to know about the Middle East but were afraid to ask. Topics will include: Business Landscape, Legalities, The Free-Trade Agreement, Benefits of Doing Business, The Impact of the Arab Spring, and Business Etiquette.
Sonya Shaykhoun is a New York attorney who holds an M.A. Honours Degree from the University of St. Andrews, a B.A. in Arabic and Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London, and an LL.M in Corporate and Commercial Law from SOAS.
