Navigating Your Changing Relationship With Your Doctor: Telemedicine, Doctor Rating Websites, Social Media

The patient experience is rapidly changing. Telemedicine has become more commonplace over the last year, bringing the idea of a house call to a new level. Doctors are communicating with patients and prospective patients through social media and building a brand simultaneously. Patients are flooded with information about which doctor to choose through doctor rating websites.

Questions for the modern telemedicine landscape.

How can patients handle this changing medical landscape? Where is telemedicine going? What do we need to know? How can they block out the noise of a D-rated website to find the best doctor? How are doctors using social media to communicate and what do patients need to know when looking at Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram? How can you best work with your doctor when your relationship is remote and not in person?
