NFTs and Fine Art with Audrey Ou and Matt Sherman at The Penn Club

Join us for an exciting evening at the Penn Club learning about NFTs and fine art.  Our guest speaker will be Audrey Ou the co-founder and CEO of TRLab, a boutique NFT platform focused on fine art. Based in New York, she is a member of the Guggenheim Museum’s Young Collectors Committee and Asian Art Committee.  Audrey will be in conversation with Matt Sherman to explain what NFTs are, how they came about, and what unique utilities they create for artists.

Matt Sherman is an Investor at Undefined, a NYC-based family office focusing on NFTs and web3. Matt is a venture investor and trader, in addition to creating and advising on special NFT projects including the artist Tom Sachs popular Rocket Factory series.

 

Tickets are $25 for Columbia Club members and $15 for Columbia Club members who belong to the Penn Club.  Penn Club members should register on the Penn Club site.   Guests are welcome! Wine and refreshments will be served at 6 PM and the talk will begin at 6:30 PM.  Tickets are refundable until March 30th.

Audrey Ou

Her interest in contemporary art derives from her engagement with the Rockbund Art Museum since its formation in 2010, where she assisted with solo exhibitions of artists such as Cai Guo Qiang and collaborations such as the Hugo Boss Asia Art Project. She holds a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.S. in Applied Analytics from Columbia University.

Matt Sherman

Prior to his current role, Matt was an Acquisitions Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Asset Management Division’s Real Estate Group. In addition to his role on the Acquisitions team, Matt also worked on the group’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2019, with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate.
