Restorative Yoga with Lindsey Howell – NEW DATE

End your day with a relaxing Restorative Yoga session with Lindsey Howell.

Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. Yoga poses (asanas) are held for a longer duration of time and involves the use of props such as yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters for support. It is also a practice of deep relaxation that emphasizes the meditative aspect of yoga—the union of body and mind. Restorative yoga is suitable for practitioners of all levels.

Lindsey Howell

Lindsey started practicing Bikram yoga in 2008 as a way to get back into shape after having her 2 kids. Shortly after, she realized the amazing benefits yoga was having on her body and also alleviating her chronic lower back pain which she had been struggling with since high school.

With a desire to expand her yoga practice, Lindsey then started to explore Vinyasa yoga and began to realize the other benefits yoga offered including deepening her connection with her body, breath and mind.

Inspired by the love of helping people and wanting to share yoga and its’ benefits with others, Lindsey decided to pursue yoga teacher training. In December 2014 she completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Wild Soul Yoga and in March 2017 completed a 30-Hour Yin Yoga Immersion and Teacher Training with Experience Yoga. Lindsey has been teaching yoga since 2014 at local studies and is currently teaching virtually.

Yoga continues to contribute to the many positive transformations in Lindsey’s life on and off the yoga mat and her goal is for other yogis to experience the same.
