Venture Capitalist Harry Edelson and His Life Lessons from Positivity

Often referred to as “Happy Harry”, businessman and venture capitalist, Harry Edelson will describe how his upbeat and energetic outlook on life has helped him achieve the unimaginable in his new book, Positivity, How to be Happier, Healthier, Smarter and More Prosperous.  Born into a poor immigrant family more than 80 years ago, Edelson achieved a background in both computers and telecommunications engineering which led him to a successful career on Wall Street.

In this presentation, Edelson will focus on the importance of continuing education, how to increase memory retention and will offer valuable financial advice.  Edelson is Managing Director of Edelson Technology Partners (ETP), founded for venture capital, consulting and M&A in the technology industry.

During his career, Edelson was awarded the All-Star Security Analyst by Institutional Investor, and managed funds for ten Fortune 500 companies through a series of strategic venture capital funds.  In addition, Edelson assisted in starting the internet industry in China, and serves as the current President of the China Investment Group.  He holds a BS in Physics from Brooklyn College and an MBA from New York University.
