Since 2009, Fogline Vineyards has been producing benchmark mono-varietal wines from the Petaluma Gap, a unique site located in the Sonoma Coast AVA. The wines are some of the most exciting in the area and showcasing the quality of hillside fruit moderated by the nearby coastline and the Petaluma Gap. The name “Fogline” comes from the belief that grapes grown above the fog line produce extraordinary balance and freshness, and we couldn’t agree more.
Save The Date: The next dinner is scheduled for November 7 with Greg Ahn’05BUS, President and Founder, Alcohol-by-Volume Wine Company. Greg’s vineyards include Folktale, Le Mistral, Aviary, De Amis, and Golden.
The Columbia Alumni Winemakers Collective is a new program developed by the Columbia Alumni Association as a professional resource for Columbians in the wine industry.
One of the collective’s pilot programs this year is the Columbia Alumni Winemaker Dinner Series, to be held throughout the year in New York City. The dinners will feature guided pairings led by the winemakers themselves, and are offered in conjunction with our partners at New York Vintners.
